AIP scopes resources to workspaces and authenticates access through account credentials or API keys. A system connection describes the endpoint and authentication the platform uses when executing a hosted evaluation.

AIP stores the connection’s bearer credential through its encrypted credential handling, as shown in your first evaluation. Keep credentials in environment variables and avoid writing them into notebooks, screenshots, logs, or documentation examples.

Hosted evaluation sends the configured inputs to the selected system endpoint. Review that endpoint’s data handling before uploading sensitive evaluation data.
